As a tourist, your experience is different, because the 小贩中心 system means you can eat 3 full, delicious meals a day for S$15–25. That's cheaper than London, New York, Sydney, or Tokyo.

- Mustafa Centre (小印度): Open 24 hours, consistently the best cash 汇率s. Currency counters on the ground floor. No commission.
- Lucky Plaza (乌节路): 一楼有多家换钱商——竞争激烈、便利，每天营业至晚上9–10点。
- People's Park Centre (牛车水): 另一换钱商聚集地，排队比慕达发短。

刷卡指南

什么是消费税（GST）？

游客退税计划 (TRS) — Claim Back 9% GST on Shopping
作为游客，您可以 申请退还在符合条件的零售购物中支付的9% GST when you leave Singapore through 樟宜机场. This is one of the most underused money-saving features for travellers doing any serious shopping.

购物时索取eTRS票据
在参与零售商购物时（寻找门口的 "Tax Refund"或"eTRS" 贴纸），请向收银员索取 eTRS (Electronic 游客退税计划) ticket 付款时出示护照即可。零售商将通过电子方式将您的购物与护照关联，请保留收据。
Scan at eTRS Self-Help Kiosks at 樟宜机场
At 樟宜机场, 值机前，前往 eTRS自助退税机 located at departures halls in T1, T2, T3 and T4. Scan your passport. The system automatically retrieves all your eTRS-linked purchases. Confirm your refund method (信用卡 or cash). If your purchases total over S$500，海关人员可能要求实物查验商品，请将其放入随身行李，或做好从托运行李中取出的准备。
领取退税
通过入境审查后，前往 中央退税柜台 (after immigration, in the departure transit areas). Choose 信用卡 refund (usually free) or cash refund in SGD (small admin fee applies, typically S$3.50 per claim or 0.35%). Credit card refund appears within 10 business days. Cash refund is immediate. Global Tax Free and Premier Tax Free are the two operators you may encounter.

新加坡小费文化
Singapore does 不 have a tipping culture. Do 不 feel obligated to tip anywhere.
- 小贩中心s and koptiams: No tipping — it's 不 expected or done
- 餐厅s: A 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill by most restaurants — this is collected by the establishment, 不 necessarily distributed to servers. No additional tip needed. If the service was exceptional, a cash tip directly to the server is appreciated but never expected.
- 出租车和Grab： 无需给小费。司机会在应用内给您评分——同样给他们评分即可
- 酒店行李员： S$2–3 每件行李 tip is appropriate at luxury hotels (though still optional)
